Yvonne is a versatile lawyer with expertise in intellectual property, litigation, conveyancing, and employment law. Her experience extends to advising clients from various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, food and beverage and constructions.
In the area of real estate and conveyancing, Yvonne has represented our clients in the acquisition and disposal of properties including residential properties, commercial lots, and lands, as well as advising on real estate financing transactions. She has also handled the sales and purchase agreements and tenancy agreements for several major shopping complexes, including Sungei Wang Plaza, IPC Shopping Centre, Pavilion Shopping Centre, lntermark, and Elite Pavilion. Her experience in this area also extends to handling land acquisition and compensation matters.
Yvonne has also helped many of our clients and their families to organize their affairs and finances in order that they feel secure and have peace of mind what may come. Her experience in advising on estate/inheritance planning options including how to structure assets and the documentation involved to achieve the objectives, drafting Wills and other related documents as well as obtaining a Grant of Probate from the Court and advising on administration of an estate.
In the area of intellectual property, Yvonne has advised clients on trademark and copyright matters, including registration, licensing, and infringement issues. She has also assisted clients in drafting and negotiating various intellectual property agreements, such as licensing and assignment agreements.
Yvonne has also handled a variety of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, intellectual property disputes, and employment-related disputes. She has represented clients before various courts and tribunals in Malaysia, including the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Industrial Court.
In the area of employment law, Yvonne advises clients on various employment-related matters, including work force restructuring, termination of employment, and employment contracts. She also assists clients in drafting and implementing employment policies and procedures, as well as advising on compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
